Flying to San Francisco

San Francisco is the heart of the Bay Area. You can fly to San Francisco (SFO) or Oakland (OAK). From there, take BART, and you'll be downtown in 30 minutes.

getting around the city

Use public transit (BART, MUNI) or one of the ride sharing services (Uber, Lyft).

exploring the bay area

Rent a car or use Caltrain to explore Silicon Valley. Ride BART for the East Bay (Berkeley). Use Golden Gate Transit for the North Bay.

San Francisco is a very popular destination and city. We encourage you to make your travel arrangements as soon as possible. Avoid the Tenderloin and Civic Center neighborhoods, they're not super friendly.

Airbnb lets you rent someone's home for your stay. There is a wide choice of houses and apartments and may be cheaper than a hotel room. Check them out!

We secured a very limited room block (15 rooms) at the Cow Hollow Inn & Suites for Friday August 14 - Sunday August 16 at $185/night, including free covered parking. Because it is peak season the hotel has a 2 night minimum.
